About Monalisa Blinds

Monalisa Blinds started with a simple idea: the window furnishings industry could do better.

I had seen too many homeowners dealing with inconsistent pricing, poor workmanship, unreliable installers and a lack of professional standards. In many cases, customers simply didn’t know what level of service, compliance or quality they should expect. I saw a genuine gap in the market for a business that could offer fair pricing, professional installation, proper processes and accountability from start to finish.

I discussed the idea with my business partner and co-founder, Rajiv, who brings around 20 years of experience in the window furnishings and fabric industry, including extensive experience helping build and grow businesses within the sector. Combining his industry knowledge with my focus on technology, customer experience and business systems, we created Monalisa Blinds with a clear vision: to raise the standard.

Today, we have a growing team and work with trusted suppliers, but one thing hasn’t changed – we remain personally involved. From the first phone call and product advice, through measurement and quoting, right through to installation and the final quality check, we want to know that the job has been done properly.

For us, growth isn’t about completing as many installations as possible. It’s about building a company people can trust and recommend.
